Saturday's Metal Day

Well today was Metal Day for me, and Im so Happy with what I have turned out !!!! well the day isnt over yet.

The first piece had a old fuse with a tiny piece of wire mesh in it as well as the word time.A old light bulb which was placed over a metal number 50 as you look through it.

The second one has a old watch winder for a pocket watches with an old typewriter key glass on top you can vaguely see the letter A still on it with a hidden surpries underneath a man just peeking through.

The last one is an old key with a man peeking through Mica. The wire around the key was as I found it at a Trash and Treasure twisted already and copper to boot, Mark thinks it was old fuse wire for a car.

The metal they all sit on were a special gift from a special friend thanks you know who you are!!

Hiya,
Firstly these are just fabulous - personally i love fine detailed little objects so this is right up my alley. I had a big cleanup tonight and put a bunch of fuses just like those in a jar - one of Michael's purchases whilst here - however ours were not brass. Anyway they are all stunning pieces.

Well fellow bloggers of Jens, I think we need to put pressure on her to submit these metal pieces and an article on finding unique treasures to Cloth Paper Scissors or Somerset Studio! I see a HUGE article and a nice fat check coming your way if you do Jen!
