Junk glorious Junk!!

JUNK, yes my favorite past time (looking for it)!! This is some of my stash that I bought at our local swap meet last weekend over 3000 site's of dust, rust and laugh's. Greta came up from Melbourne and we shopped till we dropped and then some. My darling hubby drove us up to another stall way up the back as our legs just could step another step. There I had only $2.20 left and if you spot the pocket watch with the chain the kind man took pity on me and said I could have it for that, I was in shock! He said it was great to see to girls (I use the word loosley) enjoying themselves so much looking for junk.

New Jewerly

Here is another piece of jewerly I have just made with a wonderful antique lense which I love, plus an old antique metal tag. Im so in love with my dremel and stand (sad aren't I?) it makes life so easy to drill holes into the lense so I could add my screws around the edges to secure a back onto it.

Here is another camera lense necklace .
This is a smaller on from the last one. I have added a antique tin photo of a girl which was not as easy as I thought. The whole size is about 1 1/2"inches.

My last one is not a very good photo, it is about an inch big, I used a brass door fitting. Inside is a tin photo of a boy with bevelled glass on top. It is a brooch.
For all the people who have been asking about my Etsy shop, it will be up and running by the end of the week. Stay tuned for more details.

Love the junk collection Crozz, though I think it needs to be called "junque"....much more fitting for this pile of wares!!!

The necklaces and brooch are just wonderful, I love how you put your different elements together and they look like they were just waiting for each other to become complete. Gorgeousness!!!

Here via Nina B's. So glad I followed the breadcrumb trail. Your work is very beautiful. And I must say that anyone who loves their dremel, has my admiration! I have just bought one and am plucking up the courage to use it, be confident with it. I do wish some one would offer classes on how to 'take control' of one's dremel!

How fortunate for you to find all the magnificent stuff in one day! I wish we had flea markets like that. I have been searching and collecting for a couple of months now and I am just feeling I have enough to begin to play. I also noticed the light bulb. What an awesome shape it has. I have seen several light bulb shrines lately and I imagine that you have something like that in mind? You pile of goodies also gives me more of an idea of what to look for when I am searching out junk so thank you for posting the pic’s. Your jewelry pieces are amazing also! I will certainly be anxiously awaiting the opening of your esty shop!
