Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and I hope you all have a very creative 2008.

I would firstly like to give you all my personal thanks for everyones support this year, their kind words and encouragement to me with my art work. I feel I have grown this year in my art work but I have shrunk in real, life they tell me it's an age thing, LOL.

So to all of you in Blogger land THANK YOU.

It has been a very busy year for me, my daughter Nicole passed her VCE, WELL DONE Nicole and My son Matthew has had a bad year Health wise, it has been very draining for all my family, but especially him, he handles his health with great maturity for a 15 year old, Im proud of you Matthew. Hope fully next year will bring him better health.

Now lets get to the necklace I have done it was from a clock hand and an old 1850 tin photo of a lady. I have used a peral and an old crystal from a chandlier.

For all of you that have asked, Im working on an etsy site it will be up and running in a couple of weeks, Thanks Nicole.

Well have a safe Holiday everyone,

Sunday's Man

Sunday's Man was a real pleasure to make, since doing Robert Dancik's cold connections class, I told you about in my last entry Smile.
My work has taken on a more secure feeling, literally LOL. Things are now not held together with a wing and a prayer but now with rivets, and more planning when I go to put my pieces together.
I have bought the best thing (well since my Japanese screw punch anyway) my Dremel stand, to die for.
This piece was made with an old hair clip, heishi just below the number 18 and my new optical Lenses which are to die for.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend
